I read on 3Quarks about Al Gore's foot soldiers and link by link got to New American Dream. Just looking at the home page makes me smile. Like a Valentine's card for every Buddhist heart I know.

mica tucker, thanks for your comment on my post at Blazing Indiscretions: Groundwater as a public trust resource. Yes, as a member of the Board of Health in Burlington, active Green Party member and a member of St Paul's Cathedral's Earth Care Circle, I continue to follow the story. BTW, I was interested to see you have a connection to Houston - I lived there for 23 yrs. Also I am a graduate of The Mountain School in Vershire - I became interested in environmental activism during my student years there (1963-66).
